the story of our ranch

Get to Know Us

Tom and Jacki Moxley founded JT Ranch in 2003, first in California and later settling in Fernley, Nevada. Horses have always been part of their lives, both individually and together. In 2024, they felt a calling from God to create an equine therapy program that could serve their community in a new way.

In 2025, that vision came to life with Licensed Clinical Social Worker Shana Plount, and Reins of Hope was born. Today, the ranch represents a shared mission: to bring hope and healing through the power of horses.
